COURSE SELECTION:
Course Corrections
Course corrections will be addressed beginning on August 5 and will be addressed in the order in which they're received to my inbox. Guidelines for corrections for 2024-25 school year:
Corrections may be requested within the first week of each semester.
Below are the only approved reasons for schedule corrections:
- Student has been scheduled into a course previously passed
- Student has been scheduled into a course out of sequence (i.e., Spanish 3 before Spanish 1)
- Student did not pass a class that was a prerequisite for another
- Student has an incomplete schedule
- Senior is missing a requirement for graduation
- AP or concurrent enrollment class changes must be approved by a teacher, principal, guardian and counselor.
Below are NOT approved reasons:
- Teacher requests
- Lunch Requests
- Friend Requests
- Period swaps
- Future 9th Graders- Course Card
- Future 10th Graders- Course Card
- Future 11th Graders- Course Card
- Future 12th Graders- Course Card
- IB Students

GRADUATION SWAG
- Honors Diploma: Black and White Stole
- 16 honors, AP, IB or Concurrent Enrollment Credits; 3 must be AP or IB
- 3.5 GPA or higher
- 2 years of a World Language (Level III and IV of a language count as an honors class)
- RAM Medallion: Medal to wear at Graduation
- Earn at least 50 points in extracurricular activities
- Student is in charge of completing this form and turning it in to Heather Parry
- CTE Medallion: Medal to wear at Graduation
- Complete at least 3 credits in a CTE pathway
- Valedictorian: Medal to wear at Graduation
- 4.0 GPA
- Home Release, Release Time and Teacher's Aide greater than 2.0 credits will disqualify the student from consideration.
- Biliteracy Seal: Teal Cord
- Fluent in two or more languages
- Take a test with Karrie Jarratt
- GPA: Gold Cord
- Have a GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Leadership: Blue Cord
- Given to students that have been captains/leaders in the school
